I light Pila 2026
An unforgettable party. A day of fun and solidarity on the snow, different from all the others!
You can experience it only in Pila, on Saturday 14 March 2026.
Back for the twelfth consecutive year, I Light Pila returns: the torchlight procession where everyone, absolutely everyone can participate! On skis, snowboard or with snowshoes, in a unique setting on the highest mountains in Europe.
Armed with a pink LED torch, adults and children will descend the slopes forming a long bright and colorful river, until they reach the “village” and celebrate together with an aperitif, music and entertainment.
Sign up for the torchlight walk and choose the route you prefer — long, challenging, easy or short: in any case you will be making an important act of solidarity. The proceeds from the registrations, as every year, will be donated by Pila to Komen Italia, a volunteer-based organization at the forefront of the fight against breast cancer throughout the country.
PROGRAM
FROM 2:00 PM
Welcome to the village, take your torch and immerse yourself in the party atmosphere! The day of the event, by presenting the payment receipt, it will be possible to collect the torch at the ski village located in the Baby Gorraz arrival area in a festive atmosphere with music and DJ sets.
Live entertainment: directly from Radio Deejay, Valentina Ricci and Francesco Ciocca will keep us entertained until the torchlight procession starts.
Dress code: PINK! Wear something pink and add color to the party!
AT 5:00 PM
Slopes close.
AT 5:30 PM
Last uphill ride for skiers on the Chamolé chairlift, Gorraz–Grand Grimod cable car, and Pila–Stella gondola lift.
The mountain huts will welcome participants until the start of the torchlight walk.

AT 6:00 PM
Departure of the torchlight walk with snowshoes from the village. Snowshoes will be distributed while supplies last — to make sure you don’t miss out, bring your own if you have them. Expert guides will accompany you along the route.

AT 6:30 PM
Departure of the pink torchlight walk from the mountain huts.
Last descent from Stella to Pila-Gorraz for pedestrians, who with their torches will be able to light up the gondola.
HUTS AT ALTITUDE
Before the torchlight procession: huts and bars in Pila welcome participants with good music, hot tea and mulled wine, until the departure of the pink torchlight procession, scheduled for 6:30 PM:
AT 8:00 PM
End of the torchlight procession and symbolic delivery of the proceeds to Komen Italia.

Closure of the Pila–Aosta gondola lift.
