Snowpark AreaEffe

All the Pila snow at maximum power

EFFE as free and fun

First snowpark born in the Aosta Valley and among the best in the north-west (also awarded the Best Northwest Park award in 2016), AREAEFFE is a point of reference for “riders” and no, thought and realized by pursuing the ideals of fun and the sense of challenge that every snowboarder and freestyle-skier has in mind. Among the funboxes, Kicker and Rail, safety remains in the first place, as those who practice the discipline or want to approach it must be able to do so in well maintained and high quality environments. Areaeffe enjoys an enviable natural location, sheltered from the wind thanks to the groves which surround it and which offer an excellent contrast even in the most sunny days. Located at 2200m, the snowpark is reachable from the center of Aosta in about 30 minutes (gondola + liasion + cable car): not bad!

EFFE as Freestyle

Along the Grimod piste, 20000 sqm of freedom and fun

Areaeffe grows along the length of the Grimod piste over an area of 20000 sqm with a length of 600 meters; it welcomes structures of all levels, from beginners to the most experts and demanding. The structure is maintained in a manic way, shaped and groomed each morning for the joy of snowboarders and freestyle skiers. An easy zone, entirely dedicated to the beginners, allows a safe approach to the world of the freestyle: sequences of funbox, railboxs satisfy the beginners in freestyle. Kickers, funboxes, rails of all types “fill”, instead, intermediate and expert lines.
The Grand Grimod four-seated chairlift serves the park, allowing it to “run several times” and without rest for the indefatigable.

AREAEFFE is also relax, music and sunbathing

Thanks to automatic snow and work done on the ground, the park is operating since the last week of November, in conjunction with the opening of the lifts. Each structure will evolve and will be renewed during the course of the season to make you always find something new!
