Tuesday – Snow-covered Trails – Afterski

An afternoon excursion with snowshoes in the Pila basin, upstream of Aosta, through the woods leading to Alpe Grivel (1910 m), offering panoramic views of the central valley and the region’s highest mountains.

Duration: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM – Elevation difference: 140 m – Total time: 2.5 hours – Difficulty: Easy

Meeting point: information point at the cable car arrival area at 5:00 PM

Fee: €15

Wednesday and Thursday – Night Snowshoeing

For a special evening with snowshoes, immersed in the magical nighttime atmosphere of Pila’s forests, you can book a fantastic experience with nighttime snowshoeing.

Duration: 4:00 PM – 18:30 PM – Elevation gain: approximately 70 meters – Difficulty: Tourist level

Cost: €20 per person

Friday – Night Snowshoeing with Dinner

An exhilarating evening stroll to explore the starry sky in the silence of Pila’s magical atmosphere, situated at an altitude of 1800 meters with a view of the central valley and the highest peaks in the region. Dinner at a typical local spot upon arrival with two menu choices:

• One at €25.00 – polenta with a choice of meats (braised sausage and venison stew), or alternatively, Valpellinentze soup, apple pie with vanilla cream, water, and coffee.
• Another at €50.00 – homemade ravioli, potatoes, leeks, and speck served with butter, sage, and shavings of parmesan. Honey and mustard-glazed sous-vide spare ribs with baked potatoes, sweet and sour vegetables, sous-vide-cooked onions, served on lava stone, dessert of choice, 1/4 of wine, or beer.

Duration: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Elevation gain: approximately 50 meters – Difficulty: Tourist level

Meeting Point: Upper Pila parking lot after the tunnel

Cost: €15.00 for the excursion – €25.00 or €50.00 for the dinner menu.
