HABITAT is the name of a cooperative operating in Valle d’Aosta from 1986 in the tourism sector, low-impact nature and environmental education. Aim members, connoisseurs of the environment of our region, which gave rise to HABITAT, was to make hiking an opportunity to learn to “read” the territory in all its aspects: observe animals in their natural environment, recognize the tracks and see them in their natural enviroment, knowing the past history and present of a territory and the invisible ties involving all these environmental entity , including humans, identifying the marks left by time and man himself. We act like a Nature Guides in the Gran Paradiso National Park, (Exclusive of Park Guides), in the natural park of Mont Avic, in nature reserves, but also in the rest of the region; in every place where nature is in its most surprising and wonderful, though so not always so obvious…

The Mountani Trek sports association will make you discover and appreciate the beauty of our mountains, including the subtle mechanisms within ecosystems, tell evolutionary adaptations – sometimes bizarre, but always surprising – and why not, get excited at the sight of a rare alpine flower. We are lovers of the mountains and of nature in general, and this is what we love to do: to put at your disposal our irrepressible natural passion and our ability to interpret the environment around us to offer you an unforgettable experience.
