Tracce Alpine
Wednesday is the day dedicated to discovering the mountain pastures and their fascinating history. A journey immersed in Alpine rural culture, which will allow us to immerse ourselves in an authentic and genuine atmosphere. We will leave for the wonderful Pila basin, where we will be able to admire the majestic 4.000 Aosta Valley mountains: Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn and the Grand Combin, which form the backdrop to the incredible surrounding landscape. During the visit to the mountain pastures we will have the opportunity to discover the ancient traditions linked to sheep farming and the production of cheese, which are still handed down from generation to generation today. You can also taste the excellent mountain cheese produced in the Pila mountain pastures.
Departure from Pila at the arrival of the cable car at 10.00 am / 4.30 pm
