Detailed track description
This itinerary connects the center of Pila with Ozein. It is more of a pleasant walk than a trek, with glimpses of the surrounding mountains alternating with the forest. The route is always slightly downhill, with a gain in altitude of only 50 meters and a loss of altitude of about 400 meters, which should not be underestimated for the return. The travel time is approximately 2:30 hours, proceeding calmly. Most of the route is along a dirt road, which becomes paved in the last section, and is among the trees, so an excellent alternative for hotter days. Given its ease, it is also passable with strollers. Along the way, you pass through the small hamlet of Turlin, perfect for a break and to refill your water bottles. Upon arrival in Ozein, a visit to the characteristic village, with its church and its historical buildings, and a stop at the restaurant next to the church to regain your strength are essential.
