Detailed track description

This itinerary connects the center of Pila with Ozein. Rather than a demanding trek, it is a pleasant walk, where glimpses of the surrounding mountains alternate with the woods. The route is consistently on a gentle descent, with an elevation gain of only 50 meters and an elevation loss of about 400 meters—something to keep in mind for the return journey.

The walking time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. Most of the path follows a dirt road that becomes paved in the final stretch, and it is sheltered by trees, making it an excellent alternative for hotter days. Thanks to its ease, it is also suitable for strollers.

Along the way, you pass through the small hamlet of Turlin, perfect for a break and to refill your water bottles. Upon arriving in Ozein, a visit to the quaint village with its church and historic buildings is a must, as is a stop at the restaurant next to the church to recharge your energy.
