The path starts in front of the Aosta-Pila cablecar arrival and follows the ski slope n. 1 until the Chamolé pasture. For this reason the distance is shorter than the other that goes through the San Grato Hermitage, but it is decidedly steeper. Arrived at Chamolé pasture you have to continue on the right following the path that leads till the Chamolé lake.
