La Stella di Pila is suspended between the highest peaks in Italy, at 2,723 meters, where your gaze meets Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, Gran Paradiso, and Monte Rosa. It can be reached by a panoramic cable car, a climb that unites city and peaks, history and nature, admiring landscapes that change with the seasons. The large windows open to a mountain horizon, offering a view that changes with the time of day and the seasons.
Inside, every detail exudes care and attention, creating an intimate and refined atmosphere. Here, time seems to slow down, leaving room for the emotion of experiencing the mountains not just as a landscape, but as an experience to be savored. La Stella di Pila Panoramic Bistrot was born from the experimentation and vision shared with Skyway Monte Bianco, bringing the same dedication to hospitality and excellence at high altitude to Pila.
The chef’s philosophy combines the valorization of Aosta Valley’s raw ingredients with contemporary creativity, in a journey that respects tradition while looking ahead. The food and wine menu combines innovation and tradition: a buffet of single-serving dishes and mason jar dishes that showcase the flavors and ingredients of the Aosta Valley. The bar completes the experience with snacks, Alpine aperitifs, hot drinks, and herbal teas. Specialties include potatoes stuffed with local ingredients.
