The enogastronomic proposition is a point of excellence in Pila: among brasseries, pubs, restaurants and huts at altitude, you can taste the most typical Vallée products and the raw materials that speak the ancient language of tradition.
La Chatelaine is a typical mountain restaurant, where you can have lunch, an aperitif in the main room or on the wonderful screened porch overlooking the mountains of the Aosta Valley Alps. You can take advantage of this space sheltered from the winds, exposed to the sun and heated to enjoy a moment of pause and relax. Entering the Chatelaine is equivalent to lifting the lid of a pot … from the scent of the food you can understand the personality of this restaurant with a strong Alpine imprint, starting with its structure, an old stable in the Pila basin. You are greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. Sandro, the owner and his daughter Claire await you with a smile, dressed in typical Aosta Valley clothes, to pamper you with their dishes.
On the slopes even at night, an exclusive transport service with snowmobiles takes you in a few minutes to the restaurant to spending a different evening experience and enjoying a truly incomparable scenery.
The bar/restaurant is closed during the summer season.
It is easily accessible from the ski slopes and from the main road at the tunnel exit, during the summer there is a large solarium with sun loungers and umbrellas.
