Built on the Via Francigena in the 60s to receive the tourists coming from Great St. Bernard Pass, our hotel was completely restored and expanded in 1992. One of their goals is to offer their guests the welcoming atmosphere usually given by family run hotels. Le Charaban is situated on the hill of Aosta, in a residential district, on the road leading to Great St. Bernard Pass. It is only 2 km far from the city centre and not far from our regional hospital. It offers a wonderful view of the highest mountains of Europe. Since our hotel is placed in the middle of the Aosta Valley, it is a perfect starting point to reach and visit our enchanting valleys and medieval castles. From our hotel rooms it is possible to see the beautiful ski resort of Pila. Aosta is directly linked to the ski runs through a cable car, in 15 min you arrive on the snow. From our hotel tourists can reach the starting point of the cabin in 10 minutes by car. Our hotel offers a free car park, reserved to the hotel guests to guarantee safety.
Our family run hotel, inaugurated in January 2010 has 35 rooms. We built this home using typical materials in a more modern style, the hotel is in harmony with the Valdostan alpine tradition and the high quality of Italian design.
