Just 300 meters from the Grimod-Gorraz cable car, reachable by ski or on foot with a short 15 minute walk, there is the “Hermitage”, this hut which rises in a natural basin, close to a fragrant pine forest in front of the race tracks, very close to the new 6-seater chairlift “La Nouva” . The restaurant has a spacious and bright dining room that can accommodate up to 160 people and a bar room, with cozy, typically Alpine furnishings, for breakfast, quick drinks and gluttonous sandwiches or energizing breaks with some sweetness after skiing . The large and panoramic terrace, set up with tables is the ideal setting to admire the majesty of the mountains that surround Pila and to follow sports competitions. The catering is organized in self-service served for the typical dishes of the Aosta Valley cuisine (soups, polenta, meats and side dishes) as well as a rich buffet of cold appetizers and grilled vegetables. The structure doesn’t do evening service and is only open during the winter season.
